If you’ve opted to purchase Event Insurance through your rental company, your coverage includes something called Inland Marine Insurance.

So, what is Inland Marine Insurance?

Inland Marine Insurance is designed to protect the rental items you're using for your event, from the moment they leave the rental company’s warehouse to the moment they return. This means if something is lost, stolen, or seriously damaged while in your care (including during transit or at your venue), you may be covered.

What’s included in the coverage?

You’re protected for up to $15,000 worth of rental inventory per event. This includes major incidents like:

  • Theft of items from your venue or vehicle

  • Fire, flooding, or storm-related damage

  • Major breakage or loss during transport

This insurance is here to help you avoid a big bill if something unexpected happens to the rental items during your event.

What’s not included?

This policy doesn’t cover:

  • Minor, cosmetic damage (like small scratches or scuffs)

  • Items that were broken due to misuse or negligence

  • Any personal belongings or non-rental items

Do I need to do anything if something happens?

Yes, if something goes wrong, let your rental company know right away. You may need to provide some details or documentation to file a claim.

By adding this protection to your order, you’ve helped ensure that your event runs more smoothly and given yourself peace of mind in case the unexpected happens.
